In the grand sweep of history, 15 years maybe but a blink; but for us - Zhenhuai Group rooted in Papua New Guinea (hereinafter referred to as PNG),  it’s an intriguing narrative with heartwarming stories of growth.  It’s not only about commercial operations, but also a journey of growth and development, in which the outsiders became families, and the projects they built turned into shared homes.

Dance with Challenges on the Fresh Soil: Original Aspiration

This November marks the 15th landmark year we cultivated in PNG market.  Since the first time we set foot on this vigorous promising land in 2010, the idea of “take quality as our foundation and perseverance as our path to prosperity” has become our constant core value. From a contractor of single project in the beginning, now we have grown into a key force participating and shaping the landscape of PNG national infrastructure.

From 2010 to 2018, we have undertaken the construction of the City Hall, the South Pacific Olympics Valley, the OPH complex, the Jackson Airport annexe, Ela Beach Paradise Project, Touaguba Hills Paradise Apartments and varies projects in Lot1, 25, 31 and 35, etc. The project size grows along with the quantity, and the contract approach evolves as well, from providing labour services, subcontracting to general contracting, independent operation and bidding.

Witnessing the Evolution: Growing from Builders to Families

 Zhenhuai Group has successfully delivered the Twin Tower Office Buildings, Paradise Brewery, Pega Hills Paradise and other projects since 2019, despite the three years of tough tests posed by the COVID-19 pandemic during this period.  This success was made possible by our team of exceptional managers and workers. Their loyalty, resilience, and unwavering commitment allowed them to hold their ground overseas and dedicate themselves selflessly. It is their tenacity that enabled us to not only endure but also thrive in the face of adversity. With their youth and passion, they have charted the development path of Zhenhuai Group, the branch there has also grown into the premier Chinese construction enterprise in PNG, offering integrated services including independent design, procurement, and general contracting. The projects we have undertaken have been visited by local political figures on multiple occasions, and are highly praised by project owners and local media. Not only that, Zhenhuai PNG branch is also actively engaging in public welfare and positively taking on social responsibilities. It has successively donated over five million yuan to local education, health, and children's care causes, establishing a good image for Chinese enterprises in PNG.

Standing in front of the 15-year milestone and looking back, our hearts are filled with gratefulness. We appreciate the PNG government for its trust, our partners for their support, and most of all, every colleague in PNG, for their dedication and perseverance. It is you who showed us the true meaning of resilience, sharing and abundance.

The strenuous path paved with cherished memories is now behind us and we are looking far away into the bright future. Challenges remain, but our minds are stronger and more lucid than ever. Zhenhuai Group will continue to thrive on this promising land with sincere beliefs. With greener technologies we will build smarter homes, and with more inclusive heart we will nurture talents in more diversified fields.

Because deep down in the bottom of our hearts, PNG is no longer a strange land, but a home into which we have poured fifteen years of commitment and emotion.
